Dear Starlight Families.
As we all know our world is still very different and it’s just not safe enough for us all to be in person yet.  However, Starlight is offering 11 virtual classes that promises to be exciting and engaging which still allows us to be together.  The great thing about virtual is we can see each other, laugh together and still be creative.  Also at the end we will steam the final performance so all can enjoy.  Please read below all the classes.  Also because this is virtual class size is limited so please sign up now and don’t miss out.  Love Cyn
Here are some words from two students who took our summer virtual classes.

Andrea Tuthill-   “I’m sad we couldn’t be in person, but the virtual class was truly amazing!  It was a safe way to get together with the Starlight family and continue to grow as a performer, and I had a wonderful experience.  We still did all the usual Starlight activities- warm-ups, improv, games, building skills as actors- just virtually.  And it worked!  And it was fun!  And it was a great way to connect with a community and with people I haven’t seen in too long.”

Grant Powicki– “This summer I was lucky enough to both work at and take part in the Virtual classes Starlight had to offer. Being able to work with people that I haven’t seen in months was amazing and something that I would do again in a heartbeat. Every part of Starlight was still present, the supporting of your peers, the group learning, the activities and most importantly, the fun. It was a great way to spend part of my week and offered a wonderful way to enhance my summer and take part in a new format of theater that is different and special in its very own way. With smartly designed lesson plans each day, we were able to develop stronger skills that we would have missed out on without these opportunities. This is the world we are living in right now but that doesn’t mean that you can’t do what you love, and for me that is theater.”

All Classes for the Fall of 2020 will be held virtually with a live streamed virtual performance as indicated.
