We are pleased to announce another great summer program. This year we will be learning and performing Disney’s modern classic Frozen Jr.
The enchanting modern classic from Disney is ready for your Broadway Junior stars! Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.
A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
This show has tons of great parts for youth of all ages and participants will learn how to use acting and performing as tools to build social skills. Our summer programs are always loads of fun.
The program will conclude with performances at The Eric Carle Museum of Storybook Art on Saturday August 10th.
There are two classes.
Thank you for everyone who has registered and for those who attended the workshop. The classes are currently full and the cast list has been sent out to all participants. Costume information for our Snow Chorus:
Our Snow Chorus will also be townspeople for which we’ll remove their headbands. We are asking that each family take care of this costume.
Girls- White dresses- can have some silver but no color. A fuller dress is better. They don’t have to be as fancy as long as they are fuller and not straight. Shoes- white or silver shoes. Can be shoes, sandals or sneakers as long as they are white or silver. If they are sandals they must have a back to them and no flip flops (too dangerous on stage and going up and down stairs).
Boys- All in white– white pants and shirt. White shoes. We will make headbands with snowflakes on them in class.
